Would you like to take on responsibility and manage a petrol station independently? The Westfalen Group has around 260 stations - mainly in North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony. As an independent petrol station entrepreneur, you can benefit from our more than 100 years of experience!
Retail, gastronomy, service - many sectors come together under the umbrella of the petrol station. This is what makes training at the petrol station so varied and creates a good basis for your professional future.
Products, trends and the wishes of our guests are constantly changing. It's important to stay on the ball and have a good feeling for people. Because service is our top priority. You advise, sell and convince - always friendly and helpful. You develop creative ideas for the presentation of goods and learn everything about merchandise management. Petrol station, cashier and car technology as well as car washing and car care are also exciting parts of your training. From the very beginning, you will actively support the station team, work independently and bear responsibility.
Have you successfully completed the two-year sales apprenticeship and have the qualification for the third year of training in your pocket? Take advantage of the opportunity. Extend your training by another year and become a retail salesperson. This offers you good opportunities for a further career at one of our petrol stations: as a station employee, station manager or as an independent petrol station entrepreneur.
Training duration: 2 years
The apprenticeship as a sales assistant lasts only 2 years, in contrast to the apprenticeship as a retail saleswoman/man, but is no less varied.

As a trainee, you will get to know all the important areas of the petrol station business, actively contribute, quickly take on responsibility and then get the chance to independently manage a station.
We are looking for several trainees (f/m/d) in North Rhine-Westphalia and Lower Saxony to become independent petrol station entrepreneurs who would like to accompany us on our growth course with a lot of fun and great commitment.
