Family foundation - Westfalen AG (PLC)

Family Foundation.

We are an independent family business.

Decarbonization is changing the world, including that of our company. Change has always been part of our business. Since its founding on October 11, 1923, the Westfalen Group has lived from and for change. But there is one constant: we are and remain an independent family business, competitive, financially independent and proud of our 100-year history. The family foundation behind the company guarantees a stable ownership structure and stands for generation- and value-oriented thinking.

Social commitment.

Sustainable social commitment has a long tradition in the Westfalen Group. This is another reason why accountability is one of Westfalen's values. The focus is primarily on supporting families and children. But the family and the company also support numerous other continuous or selective campaigns with donations.

Renate Fritsch-Albert, Member of the Supervisory Board of the Westfalen Group.

"For me, it's basically about taking our social accountability seriously - especially for children's problems. Everyone should ask themselves: Where can I help? What can I do personally? Where is my help well received? Please look and help!"

Stiftung Mitmachkinder

The Münster-based Stiftung Mitmachkinder is committed to helping children from low-income families. The Westfalen Group and the Fritsch-Albert family have regularly supported the foundation with donations since 2011. The focus of the commitment is above all the active promotion of educational opportunities.
