How can I charge with the Westfalen Service Card + eCharge?

Authorise yourself with your charging card at the RFID card reader or activate the charging station with your Westfalen eCharge app. As soon as you have connected the e-car to the charging point, the charging process starts automatically.

To end the charging process, hold the charging card in front of the reader again or end the process in the Westfalen eCharge app. Disconnect the charging plug from the vehicle. The charging costs are billed automatically.

Can I also fill up without my charging card?

As an alternative to the charging card, you can also use our Westfalen eCharge app, which can be downloaded free of charge from the Google Playstore and App Store. You can use the app to start the charging process. Billing also takes place via your Westfalen Service Card + eCharge. In addition, you can authorise yourself with your credit card. Simply scan the QR code at the charging station with your mobile phone and then start the charging process.

Do I have to download the eCharge app?

You do not necessarily need the Westfalen eCharge app for the charging process. The Westfalen Service Card + eCharge is sufficient. However, the Westfalen eCharge app offers additional services. For example, you can view all available charging stations, including services and conditions, compare prices, be navigated directly to the station and also start the charging process.

What do I have to pay attention to during the charging process?

At many charging stations, the charging time is limited to a certain time. Unfortunately, there are currently no harmonised regulations for this. Check with your card provider for the current conditions. Only use the parking space for the duration of the charging time. This will save you additional costs and the charging space will remain available for other e-car drivers.

How much does it cost to use the e-car charging card?

The Westfalen Service Card + eCharge is a so-called hybrid card with which you can charge electricity and also fill up with conventional fuels. A monthly fee of €3.50 is charged for activating the charging function.

Will I receive separate bills if I use the card for charging and refuelling?

No. You receive a clear monthly statement in which all refuellings - whether fossil fuels or alternative drive energies such as LNG and CNG - are listed transparently, as are the car washes.
