Training for industrial-technical professions.

Have you always had a knack for technology? Do you like to fiddle around until you find a solution?

If you are also interested in "energetic" topics and would like to have lots of trainee colleagues, then we have something for you.

Timo.

Becomes an industrial mechanic.
Loves turning and milling, but prefers to weld steel components.

Marcel.

Becomes a professional driver.
Finds it exciting that he transports hazardous goods at Westfalen.

Tim.

Is a trained electronics technician for operational and automation control.
Takes care of our technical trainees and has been working at Westfalen for seven years.

"I did a day internship at Westfalen;

I enjoyed that day so much that I added another 14 days. Then it was clear - I'm doing my training here."

Timo

"Driving dangerous goods requires more knowledge than driving apples or pears;

I usually transport oxygen or nitrogen. It is then liquefied to -200 degrees. So I need special gloves when refuelling."

Marcel

"We have our own training workshop for the apprentices -

with a separate test station for each individual. And I built a small control cabinet especially for them so that they can practise.

Tim

In the video, Timo, Marcel and Tim talk about training for industrial-technical professions.

That's something to look forward to.

Over 1,000 € training salary.

37.5 hours per week.

30 days of holiday.

Modern apprentice workshop.

Trainee ticket for bus and train.

Discount for fitness centres.

"I noticed right away that there are people here who are motivated.

And especially when I was brand new, they were super helpful; they helped me everywhere and even subpoenaed for me sometimes. They are also very knowledgeable about the products."

Marcel

"Our working hours are perfect for me.

I am an early riser and start at 7. Then I finish at 3.15 pm and have the whole afternoon and evening free. Those are the perfect working hours for me. And on top of that, you earn very well here as an apprentice."
