  • 2.9 tons (filling volume 6,400 litres)

For the supply of a single-family home, the purchase of a 1.2-tonne storage tank is often sufficient. Properties with higher energy requirements, such as apartment buildings or commercial properties, are equipped with a 2.1- or 2.9-tonne storage tank. Speaking of commercial properties, a rental tank in one of these sizes is also usually sufficient for many industrial processes. Somewhat more elaborate, but even more space-saving and visually appealing is underground storage: your LPG tank is embedded in earth and sand and, if necessary, secured against groundwater uplift. Only the cover of the dome shaft, under which the filling and testing fittings are located, remains visible.

Rent a liquid gas tank: What are the advantages?

Renting a LPG tank saves you high investment costs. The switch to greater energy efficiency with high supply security thus becomes affordable. Depending on the supply model, you can also conveniently delegate all necessary inspections and maintenance to your LPG supplier Westfalengas.

How often does a LPG tank need to be checked?

In Germany, an external inspection of the LPG tank must be carried out every 2 years by an expert. The internal inspection is due every 10 years. Testing regulations also apply to pipelines and fittings and, depending on the system configuration, to other modules. Additional requirements may also apply to systems in commercial use.
