In which town or region can I take over a petrol station?

As a petrol station owner, am I an employee of Westfalen?

No, you are an independent entrepreneur.

Can I apply for a job in the petrol station sector without any work experience?

Yes, provided you have completed vocational training - preferably in retail/wholesale or gastronomy. Industry knowledge is not mandatory but certainly helpful.

What is the selection procedure?

First of all, we need a meaningful application (incl. letter of motivation, CV, certificates, etc.). Please send this by e-mail to the address given. You will then immediately receive a corresponding confirmation of receipt.

The responsible petrol station sales consultant will then contact you as soon as possible to clarify further details in a personal meeting. However, this may take a few days. We therefore ask for a little patience.

What is the business model?

The fuel business is conducted on an agency basis, i.e. the goods remain our property and are sold by the service station operator in the name of and for the account of Westfalen.

The car wash business is generally also conducted on an agency basis, while all other business areas are the petrol station operator's own business.

How much profit can be expected?

Please understand that in the first step of the selection process we cannot yet provide any information on the expected profit. In the course of the selection process, we will discuss corresponding business plans with you in detail. Basically, the expected profit depends on the personal commitment and entrepreneurial skills of the individual.

How is the induction training carried out?

The induction is carried out at a petrol station by an experienced petrol station partner. In this way, you will directly gain valuable insights into practice and quickly become familiar with the challenges of day-to-day business. In addition, you will take part in numerous practical training courses.

Can I become a multiple operator directly?

No. You start out by managing a single station. However, with the appropriate qualifications, there is the possibility of running several petrol stations later on.

Should my place of residence be near the petrol station?

Yes, proximity to the station is very important, as you need to be on the spot quickly in case of an emergency. You should therefore live in the vicinity of the petrol station or be prepared to move your residence there.
