Gas supply in cylinders.

Individually, in a row or in a bundle.

Depending on requirements, our steel cylinders can be used individually, connected in series, or used as bundles. When supplied by cylinder bundles, several cylinders are connected via high-pressure piping, thus enabling longer-term gas withdrawal. Cylinder bundles from Westfalen usually consist of twelve cylinders of 50 liters each.

Bottle types:

From small containers to bundles: whether 1-liter pressure cans for operating and reference gases, small cylinders or steel cylinders: Westfalen provides you with more than 30 different types of cylinders.

1 liter pressure can.

200 grams light and 240 millimeters high: operating and reference gases for the analytical laboratory are available anywhere and at any time in this handy container. Variably interchangeable sampling fittings make the pressure can highly flexible. It is suitable for all measuring instruments with an operating pressure below 10 bar.

Small bottle.

For measuring instruments with an operating pressure above 10 bar, the Westfalen small cylinder is ideal. It holds up to 100 gas liters at 200 bar filling pressure. Compatible with common fittings and DIN connections, robust and durable, it is the ideal packaging for high-purity gases and gas mixtures in many cases.

Type 10 and type 50 bottles.

Most industrial and specialty gases as well as welding, cutting and laser gases are filled in type 10 and type 50 cylinders as standard. However, special sizes are also available for some special and medical gases. Refrigerants are mainly filled in 12.3 and 61 liter cylinders.

Bundle. Concentrated power: bottle bundles


If your requirements exceed an economically viable single cylinder supply, then cylinder bundles are used: several cylinders connected to each other via high-pressure piping allow gas to be withdrawn over the longer term: there is no need to constantly change individual cylinders. Cylinder bundles from Westfalen usually consist of twelve cylinders of 50 liters each. Bundles can also be connected to form a battery - similar to individual cylinders.
